Quality Improvement & Service Development
I have been very involved in quality improvement throughout my career and enjoy the challenge of developing infrastructure to support teams to function, informed by accessible best practice guidance.

Quality Improvement
As a consultant I work with organisations quality improvement teams and staff to implement report recommendations, trial new ways of working and develop new roles.
Sometimes this has been as a followup to the roll out of nationally required practice change such as Early Intervention, Primary Mental Health Services, Least Restrictive Practice.
Occasionally I remain in contact with services, post-enquiry to assist with the implementation of recommendations.
Service Development
I have supported several new services and teams in their development as new roles/teams are implemented. Examples include: early intervention services, primary care services, kaupapa Māori services.
I enjoy developing, reviewing and updating the documents that support teams including writing, editing and updating/reviewing policies, procedures and guidance in clinically accessible formats.
