Professional Nursing Leadership

Organisations retain me to provide specific and ongoing Nursing Consultancy services as required, where nurses are employed but the organisation may not be large enough to require a nursing leadership role.

Assisting with Nursing Roles

  • Developing or updating role descriptions

  • Managing candidate shortlisting, interviewing and selection processes.

  • Liaising with Nursing Council.

  • Assisting with performance management, nursing competence assessment and back-to-work plans.

  • Developing or reviewing policies and procedures relating to the employment of nurses and nursing roles.

Updating Quality Processes

  • Assisting teams to prepare for audit.

  • Updating and aligning best practice guidance, policy and procedures.

  • Working with teams on implementing change and understanding quality processes
